Welcome to IEEE International Conference on Computational Intelligence for Smart Power System and Sustainable Energy (CISPSSE-2020). It is going to be held on 29th - 31st July, 2020 at Government College of Engineering, Keonjhar, Odisha. CISPSSE-2020 is being organized by the Department of Electrical and Computer Science Engineering, GCE, Keonjhar. IEEE CISPSSE 2020 is technically sponsored by IEEE Inc., USA and technically co-sponsored by IEEE KolkataSectionand IEEE Bhubaneswar Sub Section.
CISPSSE-2020 aims to bring together leading academicians, scientists, researchers, and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Computational intelligence for smart power systems and sustainable energy. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners, and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Computational intelligence for smart power systems and sustainable energy. The Conference will seek to provide intellectual guidance and scientific evidence to the challenges of Computational intelligence for smart power systems and sustainable energy goals, promoting research and education to build a fair global community and a more sustainable society. The conference includes keynote addresses and invited talks by eminent speakers and presentations by participants.

Professor Ilhami Colak was born in 1962 in Turkey. He received his diploma in Electrical Engineering from Gazi University, Turkey in 1985. Then he did his MSc in Electrical Engineering in the field of Speed Control of Wound Rotor Induction Machines Using Semiconductor Devices at Gazi University in 1991. After that, he received his MPhil at Birmingham University in England by preparing a thesis on High Frequency Resonant DC Link Inverters in 1991.

Mahamadou Abdou Tankari (M'10) received the engineer Diploma from the High School of Mines (EMIG-Niamey) in 2004 and the Masters degree from University of Le Havre, France, in 2006, where he received the Ph.D. degree in 2010.
Since 2006, he has been working in power electronics and renewable energy research projects, involving wind generator, photovoltaic, diesel generator and storage devices (ultracapacitors, flywheel, and batteries) hybridization. His current interests include power electronics, energy storage, electrically powered systems, and renewable energy systems.

Swagatam Das received the B. E. Tel. E., M. E. Tel. E (Control Engineering specialization) and Ph. D. degrees, all from Jadavpur University, India, in 2003, 2005, and 2009 respectively. Swagatam Das is currently serving as an associate professor at the Electronics and Communication Sciences Unit of the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, India. His research interests include evolutionary computing, pattern recognition, multi-agent systems, and wireless communication.

Ponnuthurai Nagaratnam Suganthan received hte B. A. degree, Postgraduate Certificate and M.A degree in Electrical and Information Engineering from the University of Cambridge, UK in 1990, 1992 and 1994, respectively. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He was a predoctoral Research Assistant in the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Sydney in 1995–96 and a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, University of Queensland in 1996–99.
